Wander Franklin was born on July 6, 1970, in Norwalk, Connecticut. She has been happily married to her husband, Clifford Franklin, for 37 years. Together, they have built a strong family foundation and are the proud parents of seven children and grandparents to nineteen grandchildren.

Driven by a lifelong passion for helping others, Wander earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Ashford University in May 2016. Her commitment to serving families and children began long before her professional career, as she dedicated many years to working in the children's ministry at her church. Through this experience, she developed a deep understanding of the importance of supporting children and strengthening families.

Wander later expanded her impact through her work with the Division of Family and Children Services, where she advocated for the safety, well-being, and success of children and families facing challenges. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to empowering others, providing resources, and helping families navigate difficult circumstances.

Today, Wander continues to use her education, experience, and passion for service to support families and children in need through a variety of community-based efforts. Her dedication to helping others, combined with her strong faith, family values, and professional expertise, has made a lasting difference in the lives of many individuals and families.
